Heel and sole lifts can be done on Birkenstocks in either cork or soling material. The height of the lift will limit the height of the cork lift available. There is no limit on the heght of the soling material lift. You will need to send in a copy of your RX from your doctor indicating amount of lift, height of lift and whether it is heel only or full sole. Free shipping only in the USA. I live in Europe and was turned away by 4 different cobblers in my country, plus the shoe manufacturer themselves. Michaelangelo was the only person I could find who was willing and capable of doing a shoe lift on my Converse while maintaining the original sole. I was in America for 3 weeks only, and he was able to complete the lift, and send it to my location within plenty of time of my return to Europe.
